Twigs and Berries
David is at it again! This time he is going to make a fruit beer for us all that has a few twigs and a few berries. This new beer, that is still in the tank, will be out soon so keep your eyes open on facebook for the release date. Get ready for a burst of summer flavours and a new beer for the patio. This will be good.
Testing Scotch for the Kilt Lifter
Cory from beam global came in and helped us to select the scotch for our kilt lifter. It was a tough job but someone had to do do it! In the picture are (from left to right) Maeghan, Cory, Annamarie and David. So which scotch did we select? You will have to find out on January 25th at our Robbie Burns Dinner. – Tickets are now available.
Anakin Fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who made our event a huge success. We were able to raise over $8000.00 for Anakin. Thanks go out to BC Hospitality Foundation, GFS, Coke-a-cola, Bloom, Tobiano, the River, Radio NL, and the community of Kamloops for helping us help one of our own! Anakin is doing much better and we are happy to have helped one of our own!

It is time for the second annual Robbie Burns Dinner. It is taking place on Wednesday January 25th at 6pm. This is a ticket event and they are available at the brewhouse for $35.00 + HST. The ticket include a glass of the Kilt lifter (scotch ale), live entertainment, dinner and scotch tasting. Last year was a lot of fun and so will this year. Only 150 tickets are available for this event. We sold out last year prior to the event so get your tickets early. It is going to be a fun night and we hope to see you there.
Can you do the Chicken Dance?
Apparently the entire brewhouse could on Sunday! What a fun night. We have never seen so many of our guests get up and dance, sing, cheers, or just yell out a toast.
Fun was had by all and all had fun. We are already looking at what to do next year.
Thanks again for making the 1st annual Oktoberfest a huge success and so much fun.
Cheers to beers,
Megs
Thank you!
We just wanted to send out a thank you to everyone who helped make our first birthday a big success. Fun was had by all and the pig roast was great. We enjoyed the live music and had fun watching David open the cask beer. For those of you who weren’t able to taste the cask beer we still have the Empress of India on tap and it is quite delicious. Come on down and try a pint of our birthday beer.
Cheers and thank you again,
Maeghan and David
We won second place!!!
We were shocked to here that our “Beertini” won second place at the first annual Kamloops cocktail competition. The competition was for 6 different places to compete at making their own version of a Kamloops Cocktail. It was really exciting considering we used beer as the base for our cocktail and added fruit liqueur flavours to enhance the beer. The judges were quite suprised at how much they enjoyed the unique taste and now it is available here at the pig everyday.
Thank you to our team for sampling all those beers!
Check out the link for more info.
It’s our Birthday!
We are turning 1 year old!
It is time to come down and have a crispy pickle, drink one of David’s great beers, and help us celebrate 1 year of success. On Sunday August 21, starting at 3pm we will celebrate Noble Pig style and also have a few surprises. It is going to be an all day event with great food and beer specials. We look forward to see you here.
